Just before Zoë arrived (in June) I was nervous that having three little ones was going to feel overwhelming. Much to my surprise becoming a family of five has been easier than I had anticipated. Aside from the no sleep – that’s just something I’ll never get used to, haha! I find this time around, with our daughter, I’m much more relaxed and I think that has a lot to do with the knowledge I have from raising our boys. There are some things I wish I knew the first time, like with Austin our eldest. He had reflux as a baby and he had it bad. Constant throwing up (I’m talking projectile vomiting – awful) and colic from gas pains. It’s so sad when nothing seems to help. We went through the same issues a few years later with Max as well. We tried everything to reduce the reflux to a minimum. Having his crib mattress on a bit of an angle seemed to help a little but what really did the trick was switching bottle brands. We started using Playtex and I swear by them now. Their bottles really reduced the amount of air intake for Max when he was bottle feeding and he seemed so much more comfortable.
I’m always on the look out for new products that make life as a parent easier and was intrigued when I heard about the Playtex Nurser with Drop-Ins Liners. I’ve yet to notice much discomfort or colic with her since using them which is great.

I am currently pregnant with #2 and heard really good things about these bottles. Ideally i would love to try for convience purposes. To not have to be washing and sterilizing as much as i did with my first would be wonderful. And also give me more time with my babies 🙂

I would love to try the 8 oz medium flow. My son was born 3 months premature and is now 9 months old (6 months corrected). Feeding was a slow but amazing obstacle that we had to over come in the beginning (I say amazing because every obstacle we watched him overcome was the most incredible thing to witness). Like yours, he also had reflux and we tried every trick in the books, sleeping on an angle, side line feeding, burping often through feeds, medication. He is also a combination of bottle and breastfed. He is very picky with the bottles he likes. We currently use Dr. Browns which he likes, but there are a million parts to clean. If I could find another bottle that he likes but doesn’t require the amount of cleaning we currently do, I would be more than happy to switch brands!
Awe that’s awesome, glad your son is doing well! Yeah reflux is hard, more sad to watch them go through it than anything! Hope you like these bottles as much as we do – they definitely make life easier!

I Would love to try out these bottles. I have seen the playtex bottles used by friends and family many years ago and I Really liked how easy they were to clean. I would love to see the new style of bottle and see if it works for my little one.
