Toddler Bedroom On A Budget

You guys, I am so excited to share Zoe’s big girl bedroom with you! We have worked so hard over the last couple of months to bring this space to life and I’m so proud of how it turned out! We went back and forth with a few different themes but ultimately decided on a woodlands theme after seeing THIS mural wallpaper. It kind of melts my heart every time I walk into her bedroom. Zoe loves pointing out all of the animals and telling me their names. Isn’t it so precious?

To decorate the entire room we had a tight budget of $750 and while it might sound like a lot it goes FAST. It’s really hard to decorate an entire room for that amount but I’m proud to say we managed to do so thanks to Homesense. They’re the store to go to if you’re looking to decorate on a tight budget without sacrificing style. I wasn’t sure it could be done but thanks to their cute selection and great prices we managed to stay on track!

I really wanted all of the decor items to look clean and simple because the wallpaper is so busy. We picked solid colours and brought in different textures to liven up the space. The oversized and long fluffy pillows on Zoe’s bed are all from Homesense and most of them were $29 and under. We also managed to snag a really nice duvet, duvet cover and set of sheets for under $130 from there as well. It’s such an affordable place to shop for bedding and pillows and they have such a wide selection for everyone. The adorable deer and cloud pillows along with the beautiful little custom blanket (found in the teepee) were handmade by Little Monkey Designs, a local shop. You should check out all of her adorable pieces, they’re so sweet.

The curtains with the lace trim tied in nicely with the whimsical bohemian feel of the room and as soon as I saw the “I love you to the moon and back” print I immediately added it to my cart as well. I always say that to the kids so I thought it added a nice sentimental touch to the space. All of the smaller decor items were also great Homesense scores like the unicorn bank, trays, faux plants and florals, jewellery stand, mirror and picture frame. Seriously, they have it all.

As you can see, Homesense is filled to the brim with awesome finds. There really is something for everyone and they make redecorating on a budget a breeze. I think I managed to get all of the items I needed for Zoes room in just two trips to the store! Let me know what you think of Zoe’s new big girl room! I’d love to hear what you think. This room holds such a special place in my heart so I hope you love it as much as we do.

Sending a big thank you SO much to Homesense for partnering with us on this post!
